How can I get traffic to my site?

    Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new here, though I have posted a few times now. I've had my blog 'Teen Money Canada' for a couple months now, but am only averaging about 10 impressions a day. I've submitted my site to Google and have tried SEO, but I don't think it's working very well -- when I search for the exact keywords on Google my site doesn't even showed up!

I don't know how to make my site get more traffic, even if it's just up to 50 unique impressions per day. I have some pretty good content on it (I'd appreciate reviews on that as well... you can ignore the most recent post, though.

    The URL is http://teenmoneycanada.blogspot.com/

Any tips would be most welcome.

There are many way´s to get more traffic to your blog, here are a few:

    1. Ping it at pingomatic for example (after you post a new entry)

    2. Submitt your RSS feed to feedburner and feedage for example!

    3. Use Blogging networks like technocrati

    4. Mace good comments on other blog´s releated to your topic!

    5. Make a video for each post, just talk about your post and post it on youtube!

    6. Make a profile on MyBlogLog about your blog!

    7. Submitt some releated articles to ezinearticles and link to your blog!

    8. you can make squidoo lenses and link back to your blog!

    9. Use social bookmarking like Digg.

Hope this is helpful for you!

Actually it takes a lot of effort.
You have to be patience before the visitors visits your site.
I don't believe that Instant results are successful', IMO
And I agree with the tips given by benhuebner

These are some awesome awesome tips from benhuebner so make sure you put them to good use! As for posting a video, tubeautomater is a great tool for posting your video to loads of video sites, not just youtube alone.

    Great tips though benhuebner

If you want to promote your site, you need to understand your targeted audience. With a name like "teenmoneycanada" - exactly "who" is supposed to be visiting your site and "why" would they go there? Once you figure that out, you need to know where those people are at on the internet. Are they on mypspace, facebook, youtube,,,,, or somewhere else.

After you have all of that figured out, you need to start an advertising and promotion program to target that group.
