How can I get the product details from Google Affiliate Network?

    In my Google Affiliate Network account I can get 'buy' links and an image for products, but I do not see how to get product descriptions. Is there some way I can get them from GAN?
    Or should I use a script to pull the product description from the vendors website?

    Help and suggestions would be very welcome.
