Hello guys, how can I get some free traffic for my soon coming classifieds website? Making articles? Register in directories? Heard from this forum that are many ways to get free traffic.. Please give me some advices. I intend to release it in 2 months, so I want to be prepared Thanks.
Submit a press release on your classified website to the related media.Keep it short and simple ( one page lenght will be sufficient ).Put the neccessary info like your contact info and release date inside the press release. Don't forget to put in a description about your product or services that you offer.
Link bait. Get a killer writer to put together some sensational content for you and then use some of the viral marketing techniques out there to get traffic. Search for "viral marketing" for some ideas. (Digg, Twitter, etc.) Keep in mind, for viral to work you have to give away something folks are going to want to talk about... get creative here. Personally, I use the script I linked to in my sig. The script is free (I didn't code it), and it makes "going viral" 10X easier.
Use Social Networks to get your site up there, to be honest there isn't really a free way because if it costs time then it's not free, right? Anyways look up on SEO tips and see what works for you.
