How can I get people to register at my RPG site?

    Hey everybody,

    I have a new text based RPG site which I devoted hours to and it looks like only 3 people have registered since I've started it. (I believe it's been a week already)

    I've submitted it to about 300 search engines, 50 directories, and have banners all over the place..

    Do you think it's good enough? I'm getting a lot of hits since I've started already (about 30-40 uniques/day) but people aren't registering..

    Any ideas, as this is a gaming site, and it really needs promotion to get started..

    I would run a promotion with in the game with a cash prize. IE first person to reach level XX get XX amount of cash.

    Also, for traffic try to market with www.stumbleupon.com/

    Write a couple articles for RPG's sign it with your site.

    Get some link bait that makes your RPG site different than others.

    Just try to be unique and have patience, that's the key to success.
