    go to pingomatic.com and suscribe your feed.

    If you want more, suscribe at www.feedburner.com and activate the service for pings (they include pingomatic too).

    The main things I would suggest using would be like most have suggested, sitemaps and Feedburner/pinging. I usually have my new posts in Google within ~15 minutes.

    Several things can help your blog to get indexed quickly

    -set up your blog to ping every time you post
    -post frequently to encourage the googlebot to visit your blog often
    -join google sitmaps
    - get links (most important one)

    making a sitemap "xml" and submitting it to google your site will be crawled within 48hrs..

    Get backlinks from a high PR, trusted site, and you'll be indexed very fast! (my personal record is 4.5 hrs. :D)
