Adwords, viral, contests, submitting your site to directory links, buying links, SEO. Just a few ways that come to mind as of now.
Write good informative articles and submit them to a few article directories. I get quite a bit of traffic from using this method.
1. Litter the city with fliers. 2. Run around naked, with your website logo painted on you. 3. SEO. All three are very good ways. I can personally claim the first example as my own invention. I spent around $500 on photocopying, but it did bring some major local traffic =)
Yes, flyers are a good idea and they will work. I have been printing flyers and business cards for a long time now. I carry them in the car and whenever I am out I post the flyers at various places - laundromats, shopping centers, community bulletin boards, etc. With the flyers I have a row of tear off strips along the bottom with the url. So write up a flyer that tells folks why they need to visit and then provide a tear off strip with which they can take your URL home.

I'll have to try that one! Another option is to put up some Squidoo pages and put them into every group that fits. You'll get some traffic out of them from other Squidoo members, and some search engine traffic if you've done your keyword research. Jay

I'll assume by the structure of the sentence that there is a 'out' missing off the end of 'with'. If you don't know how to get traffic, and you don't have money to buy any, I'm not sure you're in the position to be talking about money making ventures. But that's just me.
