    its a classic problem, but traffic is the more important on internet. so more important - more difficult. just patient and consistent with your plan

    Its important to have other people advertising for you. Get into affiliate networks ASAP. Great way to drive traffic.

    old school methods...

    write on blogs (use wordpress), make articles and have links that point to your website, post on forums (like this one!) and perhaps, depending on what you are selling... try a campaign on google adwords.
