Like the title says, how can i effectively get traffic to my squeeze page. I'm having a hard time getting subscribers and im still new to internet marketing. Any tips would be appreciated
There are lots of methods. Some are more suitable for certain specific kinds of niches, and without knowing what market you're targeting it's hard to be specific. (DON'T tell us what your niche is though! Especially if it's something clever or unique. Keep that to yourself to avoid unwanted competition.) For someone in your position, the easiest method would probably be article marketing. Write and submit articles to directories and include your link in the resource box. (Benefits: It costs nothing! Negative aspects: it's time consuming.) Another great way (depending on your niche) would be to set up a Facebook page, or a Twitter account, and use that to gather interested people together. If you have a blog as well as your squeeze page, you can inform your Twitter followers / Facebook fans whenever you write a new blog post. When they arrive at your blog, you can subtly steer them towards your Squeeze Page. Ideally have an opt-in box somewhere so you can capture their email addresses and keep them up to date.
Article marketing is great! If you're a good writer and can write a 500 word article on what you're all about, then it shouldn't be that time consuming. Just make sure that the information is unique and your own (i.e., not SPUN!!! SPUN = Bad!!!). Check my profile if you're interested in starting with an article submission.
Get some really good quality content on the page. Make sure that a decent number of links are coming to it from related and reputable sites and you have linked it with the Social Media pages as well. That should attract a decent amount of traffic.
Simple, effective strategy and free method you can act on today- articles daily to ArticleBase, submit to Social Monkee- free daily submits, signup with BMR, short 151 word articles-build links that do get indexed-they work/ first 10 are free, submit value added posts for members on forums with your link. Hope that helps-
This is not my strategy but some people used it and it works. 1. Find blogs, sites on your niche with good traffic 2. Write some great articles on the niche (or you can hire) 3. Send to the owners of the blogs/site and say they can use it for free and you only want the author bio with a link to your squeeze page. Some may turn you down but some will nod their heads. You will get nice portion of traffic from those sites. It's just one way. you can find others. Good luck
