Hi guys and gals, My first website is www.dogbreedforums.com I love writing it, but without any traffic it will be hard to get the forum going. I have around 70 pages of information and listed in several directories. It seems as though my keywords might be off or my "niche" is too competitive. I am not sure but any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. I am not sure who to ask anymore! I paid for a coach at SBI, but no one gives me any clear indications.
1. how old your site? (1-3 months you can't get many vstr on competitive keywords) 2. build many links asap.. seo is about content and links, more link it's means more vstr to your site. that's all
You need to build some backlinks with anchor text to your main page and few backlinks to every post. I would try to promote it in some dog forums also (put your link in signature), blog comments, youtube videos and etc.

Thanks for the tips. I guess those general ideas I know about. But, what are good keywords. I have looked and placed them accordingly, but maybe they are the supply is too high? Also yahoo is showing a ton of spam inlinks and I don't know why they are there. Would that hurt me?
