How can I get more people to blog about my open source project?

    I have an open source project, http://www.osflv.com/

    I just recently moved it to it's own domain, and am trying to get people to check it out. On my old site, it was PR 5, and getting about 200 hits a day - trying to increase that some.

    You may want to look into buying some targeted traffic.

    Make it a freaking good OS product :)

    By the way... are you using flowplayer in your system? In case you are... then you've just picked somebody's elses innovation - which means you already have much bigger/better competitor who did the software in the first place (if this is your own system - then forget what I just said :))

    Getting to www.Techcrunch.com might be a good place to start ;)

    Its a free project, and I'm poor as shit, so buying traffic is probably out. I think I've heard of the flow player, but this is 100% from scratch. I'll check out techcrunch :)
