Write some useful & interesting article & blogs. Post them to the article & blog directories. But the content should be unique.
You can get more link from content by doing guest blogging, and by creating info-graphics. lots of people will give you back links by linking or refering to your post.
Try to create squidoo and hub pages. That will definitely drive traffic for your website.. Keep Noted: Article must be unique..
Do press release and blogging... it will get you good backlinks, see all famous blogs get so much backlinks.
Write a good article.. Pass it to ezinearticles. Then wait until it get approves. Once it has been approved, manually spin your article and submit it to other article directories with high alexa rank. Sometimes your articles will be published by other people in their website if its good. It is very very good to submit all unique content to article directories, maybe make 30 unique articles and submit to 30 article directories? That's a lot of work to do... A lot of work,,,, but obviously you get better results. Since it involes a lot of work, that's why we prefer to spin the article to make it a bit unique from each other preferably 50%+ unique, this way it is better compared to only one article to pass on to 30 article directories. I keep spinning articles and I am seeing some success with my sites rankings positions. So spinning article is a good SEO technique...
