How can I get higer for certain keywords?

My site is first out of 19,800,000 for refinancing and money blog, but that is not a very common keyword, how do I get a higher ranking for better keywords?

 

The same way you got the number one spot for refinancing and money blog.

 

I don't know how I did that...

I just set my pages title as Refinancing and Money and somehow it is at the top.

 

Hehe, that's funny ... maybe not, I optimized for certain keywords and discovered I ranked well for others that I didn't even consider. Try to analyze your site for those keywords to understand how you used them, how often you used them and where and do the same for the more compeitive keywords. This site may be useful to analyze your site's pages. Needless to say, it won't be easy so you'll probably need to throw in the other SEO stuff like link building.

 

Develop back links with your keywords as anchor text
and you will see changes in your ranking for those keywords
but before going for a keyword to target don't forget keyword research

 

you first come up with proper keyword on which u want to get on top then change Meta tags, conetent and anchor text accordingly then , get some good relevant back links then post on Social book marking and some good forums then u can come in 1 st page of SE s ..

you need backlinks with true anchor text to have higher rankings

 

put your keyword in anchor text and you can place your link in the forums, groups and also do some social bookmarking.
