    Hi everyone!

The Google Maps API lets you embed Google Maps in your own web pages with JavaScript. The API provides a number of utilities for manipulating maps and adding content to the map through a variety of services, allowing you to create robust maps applications on your website.

The Maps API is a free service, available for any web site that is free to consumers. So you don't need to spend money to buy it from the other customers.

you're right... but Google maps api cannot be used with DP keyword tool.
It required "old" google soap api.

You can get a free Google AJAX Search API key here now - http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxsearch/

That's Google's new offering for those who want access to their results through an API and they've stopped offering new keys for the old API. People who've signed up for the old SOAP Search API can still use their keys but people who don't have one of those keys can't use that API anymore.

Unfortunately, it does seem like you can't substitute the new AJAX API key with the tool you're trying to use like others have said. I'm lucky enough to have signed up for one of those old API keys back in the day (a few years ago) on a boring afternoon (I wasn't even into web dev then) and I'm very happy to have it.

Sorry, it seems like you're a bit out of luck.
