Hello writers, I want to know how can I get better at writing? What do you recommend I do? I am currently an average writer but I would like to be an awesome writer. Are there any tips for new writers? Of course I am talking about blog posts here
Look at blog posts that you think are good and work out what they do differently - are they formal? chatty? telling a story? - short sentences or long? - attention to keywords? then rate your own writing the same way. If you're not writing in your first language then it might just be that you have to become more proficient. Eventually, you'll need to decide if the effort involved in upskilling is worth it. You may make better use of your time and money by outsourcing and focussing on your strengths - or accept that your posts will be good but not awesome.
Always write as if you are talking to someone that you have known for a long time. Don't try to write in a style that was taught to you by someone else. If you write like you are writing to strangers, then nothing you write will work. But if you can get your reader to like you....you win.
True!!! My husband failed his high school English exams but is a leader in his industry. Years ago he wrote a book that became the #1 national bestseller that year - beating a massively promoted book about our national sporting heroes. How did he do it? a combination of passion for the subject and writing how he talks.
My personal advice - read it! Just read everything you can. And it is desirable that these were not only books, but also articles, microblogs, notes, and so on. This will greatly expand your vocabulary and make your brain think. From books, I highly recommend A Writer's Coach. The Complete Guide to Writing Strategies That Work and Still Writing.
Practice, practice, practice. The more you practice, the better you will get. Start your own blog and post on it on a regular basis. Also, follow bloggers that you admire and read their posts and put into practice tips that they share on how they became better writers. For example, one of the tips I got from a blogger I follow is that if I want to be a better writer, I should learn how to touch type, as it would help me to write faster instead of typing with one finger. I followed that advice and even though it took me a long time, I am learning to touch type and my typing speed is increasing.
I forget that people don't all know how to type. It takes a couple of hours to get it but it's absolutely worth the effort. Combine it with tools like Grammarly that fix common typos and you can get your thoughts down quickly.
It is best to determine in advance the punctuations that you are sanctifying. Divide the report into three sections, structure, start input, main page and end
Try reading about SEO and CMM, they can figure out how to categorize and improve the quality and readability of your content.
Read some modern books on internet content writing, it has a different style compared to general writing. Listen to audiobooks while driving if you don't have time to physically read a book.
Obviously, this has both negative and positive aspects. But these platforms still dominate the global space.
For getting a better writer at Blog Post, you have to identify a targeting audience, create keyword-rich headlines or write great sentences, use bulleted lists & know what your readers want.
Mainly, it is all about analising and practice. Look for the most successful posts and analyse them carefully in order to understand which factors make these posts successful. After it, implement your knowledge on practice.
As for me, I think that the best writers are those who specialise in a certain sphere. It goes without saying that it is possible to wirte about everything, but you'll never be an expert, you'll be an average writer. Therefore, I think that you'd better choose certain area and analyse the posts from this area very attentively, paying attention to the style of the writings, to the vocabulary, connatations and so on. People tend to trust those who have some level of expertise in this or that subject and it is your expertise which will make you stand out from the crowd.
You can write your post convincingly first, then end it with an open-ended question so readers can respond and express their opinions. Everyone loves to tell their side of the story, so why not take a hot topic and let it do the trick?
The key to write better blog posts from an SEO perspective is keyword placement, it is how, when and where you insert keywords. It also shouldnt look stuffed but just understand smart word play and structuring the content finely
I would say the best thing would be to follow some great copywriters, read their posts and analyze their methods, what they are doing, what makes their content valuable, what you personally like about it, how others are commenting on it, and so on. See the structure of these articles, how long are they, how many keywords they contain and similar elements as this will give you ideas and inspiration for your own work.
Content is key--once you master what it is you'd like to talk about, and talk about it with passion, the readers look less at the grammar and more at the substance.

A good valid question. One thing I would say is don’t beat yourself up about it. For example, you do a great blog post one week and then a crappy one (excuse my language) the next. With anything in life, and in general, mastery is an art that takes time and sometimes a great deal of patience. An impossible task? Not only may you have to wait a little longer to reap the benefits, but repetitive practice will also make you perfect. Adding to your perfection, the many answers that have gone before are all great, such as keyword research, being able to type is also brilliant, which many take for granted as having already been perfected. It certainly beats having to write it out yourself! Be a master of one topic, at least until you can master your writing, confidence, and your blog. Be specific and definitely to the specifics of what your blog relates to, possibly nothing worse than adding confusion to those trying to read your blog. Again agree with others, write as if someone wants to listen to you. Most specifically, do not become robotic in your language. Adding your personality to your writing can set you apart from others. Being personal can be good to a degree (topic permitting), using language that will engage your audience. Witty and entertaining copy, again dependent on the subject matter, for example, a serious topic may not warrant humour. Research is paramount, get to know the ins and outs of SEO ( a topic you and I need to know about whether we like it or not). Learn SEO tactics, as they will immensely help to rank your blog, because let's face it, at the end of the day, you want to get ranked as high as you possibly can so that people will see the blood, sweat, and tears that went into creating your blog masterpiece in the first place! Finally, regarding typing, ensure words are grammatically correct (so that everyone can understand it!). Spelling mistakes, eek, no one likes or appreciates them typed or otherwise, your readers certainly will not. Reader retention rates can be drastically affected, leaving any free organic traffic that may have come your way to disappear just as quickly as it appeared! Good question, which I hope you find your answer(s). All the best.
