How can I get a list of directories that are good backlinks?

    Hello, I have submitted to link dumps before and got bad SEO results every time in google (it actually seemed to help in yahoo). Directories have helped, hurt, and done nothing (I'm guessing 3/4 were good and 1/4 were bad links so it equaled nothing).

    How do I get a list of adult directories that I know are going to be helpful if I take the time to submit to them?

    I submit to the new directories posted on vmoptions.com list. Everything has been working fine for me but I get other types of links as well. The key is to diversify.

    sites linking to u can never hurt you, but most directories do nothing for your site. only focus on dmoz, yahoo, and botw

    Most of the directories never give you the real link and you never have back links . Try web directories with reciprocal links .

    There are only a few directories that give you a real back-link . Dmoz is the only one which is free..

    yes, i think only ODP can be a good backlink.But not easy can be approved there

    If FREE directories won't give you link then how directory that you have to give backlink will help you any better?

    Are you sure that DMOZ is the only FREE directory around?
    It surely news to all of us. Can you tell us more about what you have found about free directories?
