Hi I am an affiliate of a website that sells domains. How can i generate sales ? They had given me banners,text links, ads etc. Using this how can i generate sales?
Get some traffic to your site, and hope that somebody goes through your links? Look at the keywords you think will convert well, and optimise your site for those.
RJB- First try doing some research on your own. Others will more likely help you -if you help yourself. Now that I have said my peace, I will try to help you... 1.First off all are these New Domain Registrations? 2.Have you analyzed the market to see who your competition is and what makes your sponsor unique? If not, I would highly encourage this as a first step. You cannot do battle, without knowing your enemy. 3.Have you done your research yet to see if this is a niche you are able to compete in, based on your skill sets? There is always room for more publishers in a particular niche, even if it is saturated. With that said, in order to succeed you must have or learn the skill sets to be able to compete in a way that is profitable. You have to be smarter than the next guy in your strategies... create a blog, post uniqe text, seo for proper keywords, drive traffic to the other domain registration sites, or...and yet much better idea to utilize such targeted traffic is to build your own registration firm like godaddy for instance. if u have a blog already that doesn't relate much to webmaster u will probably have bad conversion rate. so..conclusion..if u want to really make money, u will need to send targeted traffic, by seo or ppc campaigns, so if u already doing it, why do that for some other company, invest in ur own business, for example create a domain with site back end with blog content system i.e blog.mydomaincompany.com and start posting quality articles in the blog.
Also submit those articles to article directories. That will increase the number of views your articles get.
I consider sales pitch and traffic make a good conversion rate. Try to get traffic by using adsense and similar kind of programs.
You should build backlinks to your site with anchor text, you got a better ranking in search engine, you are getting visitors, means you will get sells. Backlinks is the most important and if you have some budget, try to outsource it to link building so that you can consider on the customer service, technical support of watsoever.

You just need a steady supply of interested people looking at your products or services. You can do this by optimizing your site for search engines, this will drive traffic to your site. If you want people to see your product or services right away, buying traffic isn't a bad option.
