http://www.physioscene.com Can anyone give me a few points/tips/ideas on how I can generate some type of income off this site? Would appreciate it. Thanks.
I thought you wern't supposed to ad Adsense though until there is a decent amount of content. Is this not true?
Well you have already done a good job by adding adsense to your site and u have also added share buttons at the right corner. That is a good thing.. You just need to promote your website in a proper manner.
You can do some product review of sport equipment such as racket. Or you can join some affiliate for sport product.
Very interesting idea. Thanks for this, I'll definitely give it some consideration. Do you know of any affiliate sites that have some good sport product to advertise?
Monitor your adsense income from this site. The reason I say this is that the placement of the adsense code really mucks up the actual content of the site and might send readers away. If you are getting good adsense revenue, then do not change. But if it is just a little, then you may want to try making it just a tad less obtrusive. Also, you have posted a video to the page. I checked the video out and didn't see anything in it that was driving profits to you. Why don't you create your own video that promotes a product that is in line with the site and drive folks to your affiliate link for it. Back to the adsense, I have never been a fan of it. That is just me and I may get beat up for making that comment. What I have had success with (and it takes a little extra work) is to create content that is designed to be supported by a product that I created or an affiliate product, then provide a call to action and a link. That has consistently done much better for driving cash to me. good luck
The ads look absolutely horrible! When I first entered the site I couldn't even work out where to begin reading. 1. The adsense ads are destroying your content. This could work for a adsense scheme where you just try to get your visitors to leave as quick as possible through an ad. But if you really want to build a powerfull blog/website with good content, you need to move those ads. Personally I like to keep them of to the sides or after the article. You cold also forexample put them after an intro. 2. The big flashy banner also destroys the article. The constant changing of colours dominates the sites and is ruining the reading enjoyment. Except for the ads, the site looks good. But as i mentioned earlier, you need to decide if you want to make your site a "hit'n'go" site, where you try to send your visitors away asap through an ad. This strategy can generate some pocketchange, but is generally by people with 500 almost identic sites. However if you want to turn your site into a popular blog you need to focus more on the content. I am personally interested in the subjects you write about, but I couldn't even bother to read more then a few sentences before the ads made me quick. Adsense could be one way to make some money, but I would advice you to just have a few in the background for now. You should rather think more creativly like some people have mentioned. Your niche is a huge market, take a look at your biggest competitions for some tips. I'll add a few of mine aswell. #Write reviews of training books and get an affiliate link for amazon. #Write reviews of trainin equipment like fat percentage measuerer, training gloves... #Write reviews of nutrition products like proteinbars, proteinpowder...
