how can i generate animmated gif

Can some one tell me how i can produce animated gifs i need to make banners for my affiliate.

I use animation shop but you could use adobe imageready

 

use spesial programms to animate...
or just use php code to change pictures at time

 

You can use Adobe Image Ready.
You can manage the slide and set the second for your animation.

 

so which is best image ready or other softwares in adobe cs i have seen some animation options as well is that right?

its seems that image ready is no longer supported so its obvious that there is other adobe software which does the same thing any idea?

I make animated gif banners with GIMP. it's very simple just do a google search: "how to make animated gif with GIMP" and it'll show you.

Buy Adobe CS3 and ImageReady is incorporated into that. It doesn't come as a standalone application anymore.
U can use the 'Animation' window in the CS3 to create gifs.

Fireworks is an excellent means to creating animations also ... There are so many choices.

 

I use CS3, works excellent! I just finished a tutorial on creating a gif animation with CS3

 

I used to create animations in flash and then export them as pictures, import those pictures in ulead gif and turn them into gif animation. It was a long and hard process.

 

you can use flash, photoshop, fireworks, or gimpy. If your looking for more direction I found a website peepinmymind.com that had a helpful tut on creating one in photoshop.
