I have an auction site... I have already 2 sellers with large list but with specific categories... How can I find other sellers ? For other categories ? I can offer them complete free listings, that isn't the problem. But how should I find them ? Contact them ? I don't want to be seen as "spam" when sending a message.. Or should I concentrate on "SEO" side of my site, so it gets remarked in search engines, listings, etc. ? Maybe you could help me out...
come up with incentives for becoming a member. offer something people who want to sell things on your site a reason to sign up. For instance "Members who list their products on my site will get a free one-day frontpage listing" or something like that - help people move their things and they will come in droves
I think you should optimize few potential keywords, also try out visiting social shopping sites/classified sites/coupon & deals site, possibly you may get some idea for promotion.
