How can I find out why I was banned?

So about two weeks ago I was, seemingly without any reasons at all, banned. I was shut out for one week and needless to say my business was affected. I could not answer link trade/purchase PMs and so on. So, how could I find out? Surely it would be fair if the moderator at least gave an explanation to the banning?
