    Met my wife on the internet in 2000. Neither of us were looking, it was a car forum and we both had the same cars (300ZX twin turbos). She was from Boston, MA and I from LA, CA. I had people come out to visit me in LA where I raced and she came out once to see California (and me) and we hit it off. She stayed a few weeks and ended up moving out that same year (2000).

    Been married 8 years and our 4th child is on the way. We're never apart and even work together in internet marketing while starting a couple of successful businesses together.

    It was really embarrassing the first few years when people would ask where we met lol. In 2000 saying you met on the internet would blow people's minds ending in laughter and them saying "No, really, where did you meet?"

Ever since I had sites they have become my priority & for someone who hardly ever leaves the computer (such as myself), I hardly ever meet new people offline, & in the instances that I do I never like them. My previous ex-boyfriend and I met only because he was an agent for a cable company & he went to our house during field-work.
    My latest ex-boyfriend and I actually met online - but same place/country so it was no biggie & we worked it out, but everytime someone asked me when / how we met, I ALWAYS lied through my teeth because it was EMBARRASSING AS HECK. :p I always told them a friend introduced us, blah blah.. It made me feel like a loser meeting someone online (& I thought this was the case for everyone until I saw this thread LOL)..

    I did have some gals proposing to me online, being a high level character in Maple Story. Perhaps you may want to try that. Train and get a high rank, buy some fancy money items and I am sure you will get a proposal or many proposals.
