    1) WASTE of time....

    2) So what are you going to spend your time on.....blacklisting ads or developing good content:confused::confused:

That entire website is superfluous because the creator doesn't understand Google AdSense. Read one of the many posts in this thread that go into this to understand why I mean.

I agree with people who concentrate on buliding more traffic and content then worring about some low paying ulr on the site.

have had an adsense account for over a year now and have not blocked a single url till date.
am concentrating on buliding more content and traffic to my site.

    my 2 cents.

I don't see that blocking known low paying advertisers does any harm, surely?

Places like ebay bid on everything they can with the lowest possible CPC. Blocking ebay.com can only benefit you.

it takes 1 minute to block one url, you dont have to give up writing content!

I'm not saying blocking URLs is required for every one but if you are experiancing a very low CPC then there is no harm in investigating who is advertising on your site and maybe blocking a couple of urls if they appear spammy. It might help, it might not but you can always unblock.

If eBay ads appear, then they are the highest paying ads for that particular site. If you block them, even less paying ads will appear.

Blocking ads that don't fit your site is good, but not blocking low paying ads.

The only way I've found to keep ad clicks paying a decent rate is to a add more relevant content to low performing pages and b reduce the number of ads/ad blocks so the real low bidders don't make it onto the page (looks better too!)

If all the above doesn't work then either there isn't much advertising revenue around in that sector at that moment in time or you're site simply doesn't convert (see a)

    Cheers
