I group pages that have the same ad layout together by using ad channels.

So if you have a section on your site made up of 50 pages that all have the same adsense layout then you assign one ad channel to them.

This is ideal if you want to know which adsense layout works best. But if you want to know individual page data then I think a program called adlogger does this.

But how do you tell which ad your clickers clicked?

It would be advantageous if I could tell just which ads my visitors clicked on so that I could then make content that was directed at them.

    Any ideas please?

Here's how I test which ads are most clicked:

Let's say that you have 2 ads, one Banner (468 x 60) and one Skyscraper (120x600) on your pages.

For a few days, or even a month just leave the Banner (468 x 60) on your pages. Record the results you get (page impressions, clicks, revenue).

The next month use only the Skyscraper (120x600) on your pages and record the same results.

Next, try having both ads simultaneously on your pages. Record the results.

Compare all three results and see what's the best combination.

It's free but are you 100% positive that it's safe to use? Nothing against the program, but I just don't know a whole lot about it.

I've been using it with no problems. If you search for adlogger on this forum you get a ton of hits, I'm sure most of the comments are positive.

Go with Adlogger - pretty sweet OpenSource script.
