Swf file wont let you edit the text, you can do a google search for swf decompilers and then maybe you will be able to edit the decomplied version in flash. Though this depends on what the swf file is like so it varies and there is no guarantee that it would work.
ya, a decompiler would work. It will cut the swf file into many small small frames..the frame in which the logo/text file is, you can edit it in flash...may be this work...i dont know..
swf is the compiled form of flash executable. You would need to decompile it to get the source flash file then edit its components and then re-save it as another flash (swf) file.
Find the decompiler for the swf (I recommend SWF Decompiler or Eltima Decompiler) and edit the fla (raw flash file that makes the swf) file.
You need an ".FLA" file to edit the ".SWF"... If they encrypted the SWF like I do it will be hard to decompile it.

You need to open the ".FLA" that Sothink exports in Adobe Flash CS3 or what ever version you have, and re export it to a ".SWF" file. Sothink will just give you the master file that was created to make the ".SWF" file you need Adobe Flash to edit and change things and then you can re export it to SWF.
