How can i edit Fla files?

    Hey all!
    I have downloaded Macromedia flash mx 2004, but it give me error..

    How can i edit .fla files please?

    Possibly because what you have downloaded is too old..... its Adobe Flash now...
    I guess the error is because the .fla file was made using the newer version

    can u post the error...

    You need to download Adobe Flash. Preferably CS4 or even CS5. There's a big possibility you're getting the error cause you're using an outdated version.

    Download Adobe Flash CS5 and you will be able to edit any fla file as this is the newest version of flash available.

    Go to adobe.com and download a free trial version of Flash Professional CS 5 or CS 5.5 which is coming in a few days.

    Use Adobe flash cs5 as it do contains the backward compatibility so the older version of the flash file will open in the new version.
