How can i edit a 600 mb mysql database?

    Which text editor do you suggest?I tried some but my windows crashes when i try to use them..

    You have to first dload from your server a s a text file. Then manually alter your info that you are looking to work on and then simply upload back as a text file. Making sure that you don't alter Category base after you have worked on it.

    BTW, I was able to edit mine with Notepad. I think it may have to do with your SQL updates.

    I have already downloaded it.My problem is editing.I tried notepad,notepad++ and Textpad but my windows keeps crashing.I'm looking for more powerful editors..

    notepad is probably best as other ones will take up more resources

    Try copying a bit at a time then work on that bit#

    Notepad wont handle that and will crash can't even do over 3 megs if i recall right. Get jujuedit works like a charm for me.
