As mentioned, promoting Clickbank Products related to the topic your audience is interested in is a great way to make money through permission based email marketing. Go check their market place to products related to your niche, consider only promote the ones you would consider buying or have bought.

Sign up with a CPA company and then find some simple email submits or free offers that relate to your site. Include a banner at the bottom of the email or in between videos or photos. Just don't do a lot and make it subtle, like it is almost something is standard in all emails. Also, use the power of that group to maybe start up a forum/community. Then, you can slap up more banners or adsense ads and make even more money with all your traffic.
