Two traffic sources are located right on your website. My Space and Facebook. If you have a lot of friends they can generate traffic for you. I would also look into one adsense banner down the left side of your website
Definitely work the social networking. Add a link to your site in your profiles, your AIM/MSN handles and profiles. Even if you don't know anyone on campus people are usually able to advertise using these means.
