Basically, PPC advertisers pay you to deliver traffic to their site. You build up a blog or other website with a decent readership and visitor stats. Then, you monetize that site by adding PPC ads. You want these ads to be relevant to the topics that your site discusses, so that visitors have a reason to click on the ads. If you continue to add good content on a regular basis, so that you continue to grow your audience, you'll see an increase in income from the PPC ads. You can also increase the income from these ads by placing them in spots where more visitors will see them, be more inclined to read them and click on them.

You really have to make sure the topic of the PPC ads is relevant to the topics from your site. If your site is about dieting and fitness, your readers are unlikely to click on ads promising Forex trading secrets.

I'm taking it you mean how you could use PPC to earn money?

Well they are many ways and different platforms to do this.

But I will give Facebook for example, they make money of ad revenue by charging advertisers and publishers for space to include ads on facebook, in turn facebook offers you access to demographics of the audience you would like to target, certain keywords aka interests, that are popular with a specific audience, for example you might want to promote a bodybuilding product.

So you would find the appropriate suggested keywords/interests facebook offers, i.e. get ripped, and then choose a certain age range, location, gender, eduction etc to target, then you would bid for that keywords/interest for your ad to target, so if you bid $20/day for get ripped, your ad would show up on anyones page who listed "get ripped" as an interest, for a certain amount of time each day.

You will be charged so much for every time someone clicks on your ad, i.e. $0.80 per click, this would be known as CPC (Cost Per Click) or you could bid $0.80 for every 1000 times your ad is viewed, this would be know as CPM (Cost Per Impression) .

Of course what you are willing to bid and your budget will effect the amount of time your ad is shown for that interest/keyword. But with if you cleverly construct your ads, i.e. enticing/eye catching picture, heading and descriptions relevant to your chosen demographic/audience,

And also different interests/keywords will be different prices to bid for.

The basic consensus is, you have access to a major websites traffic and demographic tools by paying them for advertising space on their site for a certain amount of time, and they can charge you with PPC (Pay Per Click).

PPC is called as pay per click. that means advertisers pay their publishers or advert sellers whenever their advertisement get clicks. so, if you can serve a genuine/valid clicks on any advertisement (ppc advertisements) then you will be get paid by the advertiser/agency/service. and the pay is depends on the advertiser budget (as he set his budget to pay per each click). And some of the best PPC networks I've listed below, which serve ads to your website and pay you when you're eligible to receive the payment:

    1. Google Adsense
    2. Adbrite
    3. Infolinks
    4. Kontera
    5. Chitika etc.

also with cpc , you want to make sure that your budget coincide with your projected revenue, other wise you may be paying more than your bid is worth. Example, if you have a product that is worth $30 and your cpc budget comes out to be $50 dollars based on your adwords bidding and the budget per click or impressions, you will not make a profit. So be careful.
