Hi, I run a ecommerce site www.decorationpoint.com and my traffic is good but I have run out of cool marketing ideas. Anybody ahve any ideas besides directories or adwords?

Directories wont bring in traffic mate, only links (unless your lucky). Offer something for free, or give out Christmas deals. Talk to some bargain finding website/blog and maybe work out a deal wit them so that they'll show your items from time to time in their articles for the best deals.

Try PPC (I am sure you are trying), try to put some posts in Craigslist (dont spam it) and UsfreeAds...

PPC (Adwords in particular) would be your absolute fastest way. However, you can lose a great deal of money if you're not experienced/careful.

    1. Start an affiliate program.

    2. Use stumbleupon.com to promote.

    3. Come up with a contest and submit to these sites:
    internetbasedmoms.com/freebies/contest.html

    4. Come up with a coupon code and send it to all those coupon blogs and websites.

I think you can promote your products on Ebay or Google Product Search.

Try marketing to your target audience -- http://www.merrynetwork.com -- go to where your fanatics reside online: forums, blogs, and Christmas sites. Provide content ideas, tips, suggestions, etc. Establish yourself as an expert through content sharing, forum partnerships and other interactive features with your audience. People will only come to an ecommerce site if they are an established authority on the topic. You need to own the topic. That takes connections -- and, of course, your expertise.
