How can I dominate this niche completely? I actually own the product domain name...

Hello,

There's an affiliate product that I'd like to promote, but I'm not sure what the best route is.

See, for some reason the product I want to promote (they have an independent affiliate program) didn't by the .com, .net or .org name....well it's not exactly the product name, but I know it's the name that most people search for it by...I've made organic sales with the keyword.

So my idea was to just use url forwarding so that my cookie gets put on the browsers computer and get it listed on Google, possibly above the authors site even.

Now with this type of product you cannot use PPC advertising, and I've created a couple Squidoo Lenses and blogs but they never stick on the first page since it's fairly competitive.

My question is how can I use the .com name, which is the much searched about keyword, to get it placed high up on the first page of Google?

So far I've tried social bookmarking the .org version, but it never even made it on the front page!??? Would it be best to try to build up some links? Maybe write some articles and link to it?

So you basically promoted the .org and are now switching to the .com? Maybe you're doing both?

Stick with one domain name - .com -, work hard and build links and quality content for your website.

 

Quality content will bring u up, there's nothing better than that.

 

quality content + keyword optimization , also kindly check keyword density . You will be fine

 

Also to dominate your niche a competitive analysis is required for assessment of strengths and weaknesses of your potential competitors.

Remember I am actually direct linking to the product page, but with my affiliate code masked. Their product homepage is already keyword optimized too.

So I wasn't going to create my own website, just direct link...maybe that's not the best route???

I actually own the ProductNameHereREVIEW.com, .net, .org so I was going to create landing pages using the review URLs eventually. For now I just wanted to direct link and mask my URL...you know so people will think it's the official site lol.

So since I'm direct linking, all I can do is just building up links going to the sites then?

I might have to ask this question in the link building forum; "What's the best route if you're willing to pay for links?"
