How can I direct people to my fan page?

Is there a certain way I should go about this? I could not seem to find much on this subject. Any help will be valued.

I bought a gig on fiverr.com yesterday. Gave 5 dollars to the guy who said he would invite his 3500 loyal friends to like my fanpage. In 24 hours he told me he's completed the gig. I went to my fanpage and found 31 likes. Is this the correct way to go?

Obviously, since facebook has disabled the invite/suggest to friends, the fan page option, you have to earn those fan likes. the only way to increase your fans on your fan page is by doing some viral marketing for your fan page. Post some unique images and titles and share them in some other fan pages of your niche. Tag those pictures with some of your reputed friends on facebook. So each time you tag them, your image or the comment will display on their friend's homepage. And if the image is catchy you will get more likes

Since the suggest my friends option has been disabled by facebook itself, I cannot digest these fiverr.com $5 gigs anymore. So better dont fall for it.

 

Having "Like" button will definitely help you expand your horizon and fan page. Try giving something free away or a contest is always good.

Oh really! I'm very new to facebook and obviously very disoriented. So hard to find a clue on how other successful facebookers attract their traffic.

 

Yes most of the fiverr.com sellers give you a proof of sending invites to thousands of their friends or fans for your fan page. But since the option has been disabled by facebook, how can anyone send such request. The maximum number of friends any facebook user can have is 5000 friends, then how much these sellers send around 20k or 30 k invites at once? So at the end it all comes to just some fake images done on photoshop. Many of the newbies who have started their fan pages do fall for this trap.

Till the last month, all the other facebookers were attracting their traffic by requesting their fans to suggest or invite their friends to like the fan page. Now the only way to increase the fans is by doing some viral marketing.

Post some unique viral videos on the fan pages which has lots of fans, of your niche.

 

You can also share the page on your wall and ask your friends to hit the like button.

 

Add a Facebook button on your website.
Add the Facebook Page URL into your email signature.
Network with target audience on Facebook... interact with them & invite them to join your page.
Start a contest - provide a free giveaway to attract users. Promote your contest on other social networks like Twitter, LinkedIn & niche forums.

 

use facebooks standard intigration features its the only sure way to go

 

May be that you can use the signature and the anchor text can direct the people to your fan page, try it

 

simply ask people at your site to like your Fan Page
