How Can I Delete or Modify an Old Thread

I tried reporting it asking for deletion, but instead a mod just closed it which was even worse. I have been contacted for the last 3 days threatening me for violating a trademark I was unaware of, which was my fault. But now I am unable to modify my posts in the thread even. Can somebody please help me!

We do not delete threads that do not violate our posting guidelines but will close them instead.

Using somebody else's trademark as your own is not a violation?

The fact that you got in trouble with someone else because you posted carelessly does not mean we'll go in and delete the thread. If a 3rd party wants something removed, they need to get a court order and have it sent to Shawn.

It was just a request since I couldn't do it myself, I thought others here would be more enlightened about the problem of another, and care to help.

I think you'll find the other guy is all bluster. Tell him to send through the court order and it'll be gone in a jiffy - as will he. Noone ever seems to follow through. They just don't care enough.
