Hey guys, I have been searching through the net for ways to create,build and design a social networking site like facebook.Locally made for my country. I will very much appreciate it if anyone can share and advise me on how to go about with. What i need,i want a social media script that it's free or less expense for me to start with and that can work effectively like linkedin.com. Waiting to read your opinions.
Creating a social network isn't very easy, and if you don't have much coding knowledge you will be forced to buy an existing software package that meets your requirements and budget. Check out Boonex.com they have their Dolphin product which is free and open source but in order to remove the links at the bottom you must register. Also a quick Google search turned up this site. You can do something similar using a Wordpress Plugin called buddypress. It has the functionality to simulate the kind of environment your looking for.
