    Hi there:

Hope the holiday was amazing for you all.

I never had this issue when attempting to customize a link so it would be clickable. This is not for a photo add. This is all text. Always one of two ways would work.

Could you please tell me on Backpage.com when placing an ad how do I change for example
    Website URL
    to:

so when somebody clicks Click Here they go to the website in question?

I did not want to include an example of a Backpage ad that did work because I didn't want you to think I'm promoting anything. That is why even in my example I used a non existent site. I could supply the link to the Backpage ad if you need it.

    On Craigslist you can use
    <a href</a>

When you post the link changes to Click Here.

I tried Hyperlinks from a Word Document and it that normally works but again not on Backpage.

    Thank you so much.

    Have a great night,
    Craig

hello, how can we help you if you don't tell us what CMS you use! If you do add the ads manually so you can do <a href=....>Click Here</a> !

I'm sorry if I did not articulate things better. I am not using a Content Management System. The issue is not taking place on my website/my blog/. It is a Classified Site Backpage.com I am not or is anybody else coding things. It is done manually at the given Classified Site using either:

    Copying the following
<a href=""></a> Inserting the link and then inserting something such as Click Here

The second way is a Hyperlink from a Word Document.

If allowed I can show you the ad that I found on Backpage that had the Click Here take me to the website of the poster.

I am looking for a code to circumvent the situation of the HTML/Hyperlink choices not working, or if there is a converter of code you recommend for sites where the two methods do not work. Thank you.

I hope that clarifies things better.

    Thank you.
