how can i convert avi to dvd file format

hello friends i need your advise i have a avi video file but i want to convert it in dvd file format to create my dvd disk please help me .. what can i do ? ??

There are numerous converters out there:

Convertxtodvd
Xilisoft AVI to DVD Converter
Avi2Dvd ( Freeware )
WinAVI Video Converter

These are just a few of the ones I have used over the years and have found them to be good programs. Most of these offer a free version or atleast a trial version of there software for download. Just search Google using keyword "avi to dvd" and there are hundreds of these programs. I dont really suggest doing this but if you want a free program you could always use a torrent site to download one of them.
