    Hi all

I want to check with google if my new template will be ok with their terms because of the blending i have done with the ads.

    BUT

i cannot see anywhere to contact adsense - as they make you choose an option with radio boxes - and none of them are to do with making sure your site is meeting the guidelines.

I've asked on here if my site is ok -- and in the adsense google groups, but still havent really got a 100% yes or no answer - so i thought i'd ask google themselves.

My site design is basiclly this, but is very web 2.0 -- i just mean how the menu on the right, looks like the ad on the left.:

    Cheers for any help.

If I were you, I would not waste my time trying to contact and ask them. Usually they come up with the same answer...something like "read the guidelines", "as long as the ads are not placed in a position which might confuse people to click on them"

Just space them out a little bit between the content and the ads and everything should be fine. Oh, yeah and with clear and defined borders.

I think your chances with using that are quite likely to get you banned. To me it appears your trying to trick the user simply by using what is opposite of what people usually do. It's crafty but I think risky. I wouldn't do it.

According to Google the visitors must know that he`s clicking a ad..now if you are using such a layout you would be misleading them..

So better be safe than sorry....

Normally I suggest contacting Adsense directly, but in this case, I wouldn't even bother with that layout. It looks way too much like deception (intended or otherwise) with the formatting.

The time's I've asked about particular layouts they've given me a direct answer, they did add the spiel about not confusing people as well, but they did tell me specifically that the format was acceptable under current policies (or in one case that it would not be)
