How can I confirm the version of my joomla site??

    Hey! I want to install some modules for the improvement of my site.But I dont know the version I'm using bcz i had purchased this site..is it 1.5 or 1.6.They both have different modules.Can anybody tell me?If u want to check it out from the source code of my site..u can find the link in my siganature..

    It's 1.6. If you login on the admin side, top right it should list the exact version.

    It's Joomla 1.6 means you have to upgrade it to the latest version which is 1.7.1... From Joomla 1.6 onwards, you can easily upgrade your site using the extension manager...

    You can find your Joomla version from the source code of every page of Joomla site... It's there in generator tag unless you have changed it... For you, everyone who views your site can know that your site has been designed using Joomla....

    Go inside the admin area and it should list the version number.
    From ver 1.6 onwards, I believe that you should be able to update automatically from Joomla itself!

    It is joomla 1.6, you can see it in the administrator control panel.
    and need to update to Joomla 1.7.2 lastest version
    and search for new free joomla template here: http:// joomquery.com
