How Can I close the Dispute?

    PLease Help.... I'm new to paypal and since my acct. is not yet verified, i receive a payout from my employer, i did transfer the money to my friend who has a verified paypal account. the transfer was successful but got a dispute message. i did follow the instruction and now my money is on hold even the acct. of my friend is limited. I want to close the dispute i follow the instruction given by paypal helpcenter on how to close a dispute... but i could not find the close dispute.

    You can't do that yourself. You need to wait for paypal's final decision on that case.

    @ deluxdon... thank you, how long would it take for paypal to decide on a case? im ashamed of my friend coz her account is into limited coz of hte mistake i make, i dont really know if its a mistake coz i cant find a reason why paypal would give a dispute message.

    Who opened the dispute in the first place? According to Paypal, the individual who opened the dispute can close it -- otherwise it is automatically closed after 20 days as long as it isn't escalated into a claim.
