After reading the whole thread, i did not see any reliable answer but i got a perfect and reliable answer. All you need is to install SEO for Firefox. After installing preferably in firefox as i did not experience the samllie in IE. After installing, open up the browser, click Tools > SEO for Firefox > website lookup > enter the full URL to your website and press submit. Wait for all the information get loaded and then you can see your .EDU and .GOV links. Hope this will answer your question. Thanks Jeff

Thanks for the nice tips and advice. link:yoursite site:.edu will tell u links from .edu sites and you can do the same for .gov sites just replace .edu with .gov.
Yahoo have different search for this purpose. you can check any sites links at siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com This will show you two things. one all pages and second in baoud links
