How can I check my sites' linking status via google?

    Well, I know how to..but am not sure it works correctly.

    The question is,
    How can I check the total number of linkings that toward to my site through google?

    when I typed in site:ec21.com in google search box, I got the unexpected results from it. And I am not even sure the numbers are correct or not.

    is "site:yourdomainname.com" command still working in google search box to find the number of site linkings?

    you need to check with link:domainname and removing link command

    Use google's webmaster tools. It will tell you everything you want to know.

    best way to chek it for google would be using the google webmaster tool as a browser search will not show all the links
