Today i got no income. Even though im spending a lot on advertizing. I wrote them an email. They said the servers were down. Someone tried hacking into the system. This has happened, quite often on sundays, which is the highest volume and my highest earning day. Now on my stats. It shows no clicks going to the site for 7 hours, even though i average around 300 an hour. And then at the start of the next day, when the server was still down, apparently i sent another 600 visitors there. Im sure this is confusing. But is there any way in checking if a server was actually down?
What network was it thats claiming this? someone on here will be with the network and should be able to confirm if they've had the same problems. "server down" is the poorest excuse a business can give, if the company doesn't have the redundancy and failover backup in place (especially when we're talking 7hrs down) the network isn't worth dealing with if you ask me.
Well im not an affiliate. But i need to know for the clients i run. Because im getting this info from another person. And i doubt its true.
Simply tell them that if it happens one more time you will stop promoting them. Or ask them for compensation for their down time.
