    if you want to create partition on local drive(c:), it is not possible.

    It is not possible to partition system drive on which your OS is installed. You can partition other drives.

    Boot from a live Ubuntu CD, and play with the partition editor (gparted).

    It might help if you tell us what you're trying to achieve.
