create a blogfarm of autoblogs. No hosting or domain reg, no begging for links, all under your control. bloggerhigh.com free autoblogging ebook is a good grounder in the subject.
Thanks for all the comments everyone. Can someone point me to the right direction? In my opinion, I should be looking for two things: 1) an autoblogger that allows for a limit to be imposed. 2) am easier way to exchange links with others (not from this forum or the others)? Any ideas? Thanks again!

Some types of sites attract natural links, it really depends on your audience. If you have a site on some boring commercial insurance type subject you are not going to get many people wanting to link to you. If you set up a site about some social cause, save the whale/trees/hug a bee etc you will attract more natural linkage. Remember a quality niche specific link will carry a hundred times more juice than a splog/bookmark/spam link etc. Think quality not quantity.
If you want to build a lot of one way links then the best way is to be on a blog network - a LEGITIMATE one. You post your articles and others post theirs and they appear on relevant participating blog sites. See my signature link for an example.
There are plenty of automated ways to build links. But it is hard to balance volume with quality. Getting links by hand or naturally will always get you higher quality links. For my automated link building, I'm using Link Farm Evolution. It gives you more control than most automation. But like I said, if you shoot for more quality, you will have to give up volume, or the other way around.
