Hi, I want to become a verified paypal user. But I dont have a credit card. How can I become this??? any options???/
You can use a Virtual CC (much easier to get) some people are selling it here on the forums.. this question has been answered before, try the search tool for more details
yeah, a vcc is so easy to get now a days look at shoppingcards here on the forums. He sells them or use bank acc?
i sell a vcc for 10$ if u r intrested plz check my thread over here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=256897
The easiest (and cheapest) in my opinion is Graphcard.com. I used them just today, funded the account and once you have money in it, you can purchase virtual visa's instantly (as many as you want). You get it in pdf format with the security code, etc.. I also discovered the cards work with any address you wish to put and definitely works with Paypal. The odd thing is, I used Graphcard like a year ago and didn't care for them much.. now I find them really useful and their support is fast (although they NEED to provide more documentation/faqs on their site to avoid having to email them so much). In any event, it works, it's cheap and it's easy.
VCC doesnt need any documentation, you buy a VCC and verify paypal..thats the easiest and quickest for now...
A verified paypal account means that paypal has done the necessary steps to assure its members that that verified paypal member is who he says he is and that he is creditworthy. Paypal uses the credit card because banks who issue them would usually do extensive credit checks to ensure the person is trustworthy and has the ability to pay. There appears to a loophole in the Paypal verification system as there are more are more vendors offering VISA card numbers either through physical cards or those which are virtual and it may be difficult to stop the use of the issuance of credit card numbers without verification. VCC seems to fit into this loophole for the time being but it is a hit and miss situation now. VCC which does not require any documentation to get one basically does nothing in the way to claim who you are or what you are. It may be the primarily reason why people with questionable intentions also uses them since they can cheat the system and commit fraud. Probably why Paypal is getting the bad rap for closed accounts, chargebacks and all that. If you plan to use VCC, use it with caution. The reason why I am using Paypal less to receive funds is because there are too many people using VCC to get their account verified so it makes the 'verification' status worthless. If you do not have a credit card, go to your local bank and get one. Banks seems quite eager to send you one.
I agree, having a verified or confirmed Paypal account does lend credibility to that particular seller however sometimes people are unable to obtain an actual plastic card, especially in Canada where our banks do not issue them with accounts (like Bank of America does in the form of a debit "check" card.) In Canada the only way to get a credit card is to have great credit, or at the very least, decent credit. Therefore since Paypal requires a credit card to validate your account, sometimes the only way to do that is to get a virtual card. I think rather than force people to use a credit card to verify their identity they should instead, incorporate a better system that is fair to everyone, and accessible to those who might not have the offline credit for the actual peice of plastic.
