    Hi everyone,

How can I ensure that I do not link to a banned site?

The site in question has been live - but left more or less unattended for 2 years. The PR is shown as 0.

    site:www.domain.com
indicated that google has indexed 15 pages.
    link:www.domain.com
    returned 0 result.

    My question is:
Is it safe to assume that the site is not banned if google has indexed some of the pages?

    Thanks.

Yes! In my experience if Google bans or penalizes a site they remove it from their index.

My clients site is banned. Any ideas on how to help them get it unbanned?

Try emailing Google ..... of course, after eliminating the reasons why they banned it in the first place.
