how can i backup the entire server??

    i have a dedicated server powered by cpanel?WHM
    i know hot to backup a single account by using cpanel
    but how i backup and restore the entire server just in case
    how can i backup the entire server

    You could request a second harddrive be installed to your server and setup a raid configuration to run a script to clone the first drive onto the second for backups. You can also look into 3rd party services like R1Soft.

    You need to consider using r1soft backup utility which performs system state backups. You can also perform a bare metal restore if in case you need to restore the entire server. All settings, configurations will be restored as it is.

    Try and use automatic network disk archive like AMANDA.
    I prefer it so much because of it's nice backup.

    If you want to take backup for the whole server then no need to purchase the secondary hard drive, simply purchase the new remote backup plan from any server provider and make sure that backup is configured and running. You can refer r1soft backup as its working fine but only problem with the R1Soft is time taken for the restoration process as compare to the normal rsync backup.....

    Try Handy Backup Network Server, designed specifically for online backup, it may be suitable for your task!
