How can I advertise locally?

I have a website, I just finished working on it. It's about hosting, I want to sell hosting packages for Romanian people.

Can you guys give me some ideas on how to advertise locally?

so spread the word.

Another good approach is via social media.

LinkedIn specifically, has a good number of professional business
owners and members who may be looking for good hosting packages.

You should also look into submitting your site to the most trafficked
local business directories in your area.

 

Try to advertise your website in your local area sites. Also you may focus on Search engine marketing and email marketing to promote your business.

 

Another way is to consider either of these two choices...
Local newspaper classified and local free handouts.

You'll be surprised at how many local people actually read.

A great way is to create a flyer for your website, print a bunch, and pass them out on a busy street.

 

Use geotargeted ads to target your country.

 

You can also use Facebook Ads to target a specific crowd. Test the ads carefully, maybe you should even go for banner impressions instead of clicks as this way you can keep the cost of a click very low. Make sure to have killer ads though

 

Consider offering hosting in a specific niche. Then you can go to events where people in that niche hang out. For instance, if you offer web hosting for politicians, you can go to political party meetings, activist meetings, etc. and start handing out business cards. Then you can target Facebook and AdWords campaigns to the same group.

 

There is a best way to advertise your website locally is Google Places (Local Listing). With this your website only comes up in your local area. Also if you have some budget to spend then you should go with a little bit with PPC Program. In PPC you can also select area where you want to advertise.

 

I think you should choose a niche instead of just going after everybody and once you discover if you want to offer hosting to that particular niche, find forums in Romania, take out newspaper advertising, create a Linked In page for your company and network like crazy. Never underestimate the people you can collaborate with to make your business dreams come true!
