Hi, I have a site (hxxp://www.bonusfacility.com) and Id like to implement a blog system for the /blog part of this site. Is there an easy way to get a comment system, social bookmarking links, timestamps etc, and still make it look like its part of the site? I dont want to link to a different blog that look totally different, like wordpress. Hopefully it can be implemented to the site. Any places I can get such a script that I can configure? Someone please point me in the right direction
You can install Wordpress, or whatever, in a subfolder like www.bonusfacility.com/blog/ and make/edit a template so it looks exactly the same as your main site.
There is quite a number of good template designers especially of WP around here, just install then just put a post to hire one to design a template that look like your web site. It shouldn't cost much and should be an easy installation, just copy the template to the /wp-content/templates directory
You can also hire someone to build a simple blogging platform for you. But you will need to pay something.
Like they said- you can add wordpress but make the template identical to the rest of your site. i think you will likely need to hire a designer to achieve this though. very tricky thing to do. :O)
you can hire someone to do it in a professional way, , , , , , ,, Best CMS available at www.buraq-technologies.com
Just curious why recommend this company your user name is the same as the url, any relationship between you and the company you recommend? Cheers
Reason being I never heard of this CMS before and self promotion isn't really advisable. If this is the BST it is still ok, but this is not a buy/sell forum.
Use the fantastico script to install wordpress or maybe joomla, if your hosting provides fantastico. I love fantastico.
