Hello, I'm looking to add a large image to the homepage of the Six theme of WHMCS. I've included a link below which shows a screenshot of where I want the background image to display. Where the dark blue currently shows and the text "Welcome to the Quality Client Area :: Web Management Services". SCREENSHOT: https://ibb.co/kdngX5 Website: http://qualityclientarea.com/ Code (markup): Can somebody please shed some light on how to do this? Thanks,
Yes, someone does, but I'd say this is more of a service (programming) request, not a general question. P.S. No links, no code, nothing - how on earth do you expect someone to help you?
We aren't looking to outsource this task as a service request- rather learn ourselves which template we need to edit. Therefor, the section we've chosen is fitting - and in fact is what the HTML/Web Design section is intended for. Take your point reference the link however, URL is below; http://qualityclientarea.com/ Code (markup): Thanks, WebDev
Add background image to section#home-banner. For example: #home-banner { background-image: url(http://www.pandasecurity.com/mediacenter/src/uploads/2014/08/free.jpg); } HTML: Result:
over 1600 posts with only 70 likes, ZERO information about the actual site, no code provided in a coding area, and a username actually called "webdev solutions" where apparently this ass-clown doesn't even know how to use background-image or a document inspector to tell what to apply it to. Yup, seems legit. :/ Lemme guess, first time outside the scam-artist hive of scum and villiany that are the buying/selling areas of the forums?
Thanks for your help, much appreciated! I never venture into the buy/sell areas of DP, keep up. Or do one better, and be a good little boy and just run along. Ta!
@deathshadow does have a point... with a nick like @WebDev Solutions, one would assume you know basics - and this is basic. Also, @deathshadow has probably more knowledge about HTML, CSS and JS (and a huge load of completely outdated programming languages ) than most other guys on here combined. So you might ignore the harshness, and maybe considering listening to what he has to say. At least when, next time, you ask about something you shouldn't already know.
